Logix Solutions is hiring a Senior Manager – Automation & PLC for its valued client. The role involves managing on-site automation systems, PLC/SCADA execution, electrical works, and tank gauging operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise installation of PLC panels, SCADA systems, RTUs, control panels, and communication networks
- Ensure proper wiring, termination, addressing, and system integration
- Perform testing activities including I/O checks, logic testing, interlocks, and communication verification
- Coordinate integration of PLC/SCADA with field instruments, MCCs, VFDs, actuators, and tank systems
- Oversee electrical works including MCCs, VFDs, power panels, cabling, earthing, and protection systems
- Conduct pre-energization checks such as insulation resistance, continuity, and safety testing
- Manage installation of ATG systems including sensors, probes, consoles, and communication modules
- Supervise calibration, alarm testing, and system integration activities
- Plan and manage daily site activities for technical teams and subcontractors
- Ensure work is completed as per approved drawings, method statements, and quality standards
- Lead testing and commissioning including loop checks and system validation
- Ensure closure of punch points and completion of commissioning documentation
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering
- 5–10+ years of relevant experience in automation and control systems
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems and industrial automation
- Hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, and supervision
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, GA drawings, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control logic
